Our Hotel is located just outside the limited traffic area (ZTL) so you can reach our place by car! PAY ATTENTION: You cannot drive through the ZTL area, please follow carefully the following ROAD DIRECTIONS
From the North (Turin / Milan / Venice / Bologna / Florence / Florence Airport)
When you are approaching Florence (Firenze) along the A1 motorway, take the FIRENZE IMPRUNETA exit and then the Firenze-Siena road. When you are near Siena, continue on the bypass up to Siena Ovest (3rd exit coming from Florence). From there follow the signs to the Stadio and the Fortezza. When you are close to the Stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone. After 50 meters, you will find us on the left side of the road.
From Pisa / Pisa Airport
Take the S.G.C. Livorno-Firenze motorway and exit at GINESTRA FIORENTINA. From there, drive towards CERBAIA and SAN CASCIANO, follow the signs to “SIENA via Superstrada”. At San Casciano, take the bypass Firenze-Siena towards Siena, then follow the indications as above.
From the South (Grosseto / Coast of Maremma / Argentario)
The motorway Grosseto-Siena towards Siena. When you are approaching Siena, continue on the bypass towards Firenze, and exit at Siena Ovest (2rd exit coming from Grosseto). Follow the signs for the Stadio and the Fortezza. From there follow the signs to the Stadio and the Fortezza. When you are close to the Stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone. After 50 meters, you will find us on the left side of the road.
From the South (Orvieto / Rome / Fiumicino Airport / Naples)
When you are approaching Rome, take the A1 motorway towards Firenze. Exit at Valdichiana, and there take the four-lane motorway. When you are near Siena, continue on the bypass towards Firenze and exit at Siena Ovest (3rd exit coming from Valdichiana). From there follow the signs to the Stadio and the Fortezza. When you are close to the Stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone. After 50 meters, you will find us on the left side of the road.
From the South (Montalcino / Pienza / Val d’Orcia)
Take the national road SS 2 Cassia towards Siena. When you reach Siena, at the first traffic light, turn left towards Porta San Marco, then continue to the Stadio and the Fortezza. When you are close to the Stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone. After 50 meters, you will find us on the left side of the road.
From the East (Perugia/ Umbria)
Take the motorway Perugia-Bettolle towards Siena. In Bettolle, near the exit Valdichiana on the A1 motorway, go on towards Siena. When you are approaching Siena, continue on the bypass towards Firenze and exit at Siena Ovest (3rd exit coming from Valdichiana). From there follow the signs to the Stadio and the Fortezza. When you are close to the Stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone. After 50 meters, you will find us on the left side of the road.
From Arezzo
Take the A1 motorway towards Rome, and exit at Valdichiana. From there, follow the directions as described above.
From Montepulciano
Follow the directions for Sinalunga. From there, continue towards the freeway entrance Bettolle-Siena, and take it towards Siena. Then, follow the directions as above.
Siena is linked to Florence via a direct bus service called Rapida run by Tiemme and Sita companies. It runs every hour on weekdays, every two hours on Sundays and holidays.
There are also daily connections run by the bus company Sena to Rome, Milan and Bologna.
There are connections with Grosseto, Arezzo, San Gimignano and in summer with Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica (Maremma coast), run by the bus company Tiemme.
The central bus station is in Piazza Gramsci, 150 meters away from the hotel. From there you just have to walk towards the Church of San Domenico and turn right on Viale Curtatone. After 50 meters, you will find us on your right.
There are direct railway connections to Florence and Empoli (a train every hour, daily), Grosseto (a train every two hours) and to Chiusi / Chianciano Terme..
From Naples/ Rome/ Orvieto, change train in Chiusi, while from Milan / Bologna / Venice / Turin you should change train in Florence. Coming from Pisa / Pisa Airport, change train in Empoli.
Siena train station is just outside the city centre. From there we suggest you to call a taxi (phone number 057749222) or take a city bus, no. 9 or 10, towards piazza Gramsci (central bus station).
The nearest airports are Florence, Pisa and Rome Fiumicino. Pisa airport is linked to Siena via a direct bus line run by the company Tiemme.
Our hotel can organize, upon request, a private car transfer to the airports.
